Now your searches have gotten a whole lot easier! Instead of having to even visit MyNetCrawler to do your searching, you can just type in a few words in your address bar and in just a few seconds, your search results from us are in your browser! For example: if you wanted to do a search on "travel tips," all you'll need to type in your address bar is: "my travel tips" instead of "http://www.mynetcrawler.com" and then enter your search to get the results. This saves a lot of time! Find your browser below and follow these quick instructions to set it up: Adding to Internet Explorer 5
You need to check to see if you have the IE5 tools package. Check your links bar to see if you have "Quick Search.exe." If you don't already have the IE5 Tools package, download and install it from Microsoft. (Once installed, you may have to close your browser and re-open it.) Then, Launch the QuickSearch utility (on your Links bar). Add a new search shortcut by clicking on "New" and use the following settings: Shortcut: my (This is what you'll type into the address bar to do a search.)
Click "Ok", then click "Save" to keep your new settings That's it! Try it by typing "my", A SPACE, then a keyword(s) to search for in the IE Address bar (example: "my horses" or "my camping trips"). You should jump right to the search results! Have fun! |
